"..you only have to go back to the Medieval Warming Period, from the 10th to the 14th Century, to find an intense global warming episode, followed immediately by the drastic cooling of the Little Ice Age. Neither of these events were caused by variations in CO2 levels" ~Walter Cunningham Apollo 7 Astronaut UCLA Physics BS with honors, 1960, MS with distinction, 1961 Inst of Geophysics And Planetary Sciences, Doctorate in Physics NASA Space Sciences and Geology, 2,000 hours education 1963-71

"Historically, temperature increases have preceded high CO2 levels, and there have been periods when atmospheric CO2 levels were as much as 16 times what they are now, periods characterized not by warming but by glaciation." ~Walter Cunningham Apollo 7 Astronaut graduate, UCLA (Physics) BS, 1960, with honors; MS, 1961, with distinction Institute of Geophysics And Planetary Sciences, Doctorate in Physics NASA (Space Sciences and Geology) 2,000 hours (education) 1963-71

"Ascribing 'greenhouse' effect properties to the Earth's atmosphere is not scientifically substantiated. Heated greenhouse gases, which become lighter as a result of expansion, ascend to the atmosphere only to give the absorbed heat away." --Habibullo Abdussamatov, Head, space research laboratory, Russian Academies of Sciences' Pulkovo Observatory Head, Astrometry project, being conducted on the Russian 1/2 of the International Space Station

"If industrial pollution with carbon dioxide keeps at its present-day 5-7 billion metric tons a year, it will not change global temperatures up to the year 2100. The change will be too small for humans to feel even if the concentration of greenhouse gas emissions doubles." --Dr. Oleg Sorokhtin, Merited Scientist of Russin, fellow of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, staff researcher of the Oceanology Institute

".....despite computer projections of temperature rises, there has been no net global warming since 1998. That the current temperature plateau follows a late 20th century period of warming is consistent with the continuation today of natural multi-decadal or millennial climate cycling." --excerpt from "Open Letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations" by 100 Prominent Scientists (Freeman J. Dyson, Antonino Zichichi, Bob Carter, Vincent Gray, David Kear, et al)

"In 1995, David Deming, a geoscientist at the University of Oklahoma, ... wrote: "....They thought I was one of them, someone who would pervert science in the service of social and political causes. One of them let his guard down. A major person working in the area of climate change and global warming sent me an astonishing email that said, 'We have to get rid of the Mediaeval Warm Period.'" --excerpt from Apocalypse Cancelled, Lord Monckton

The planet is only warming up if you take the start date during say , the little ice age last century.... the general trend though is that the Earth is in fact cooling, even if you take the plast ten years , the earth is cooling, which it shouldnt be because of the fact that we've been spewing out carbon for a century...truth is if you doubled present carbon levels you;d not get much of a temperature increase

Roy isn't waiting. That work's been done already. He just chooses not to acknowledge it.

ANOTHER SCIENTIST BECOMES A SKEPTIC And this name is a HUGE one, the biggest name since Reid A. Bryson. It is: Kerry Emanuel, Professor of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science at MIT To read about it search the web for this: Hurricane Expert Reconsiders Global Warming's Impact

"Nowhere does Mr. Gore tell his audience that all of the phenomena that he describes falls within the natural range of environmental change in our planet. Nor does he present any evidence that climate during the 20th century departed discernibly from its historical pattern of constant change." --Hon. Robert Carter --FRSNZ --James Cook Univ, Queensland, Australia
