India allows trekking in Siachen

Trekkers and adventure lovers can now enjoy the dizzying heights of Siachen. Starting next week, India will permit trekking expeditions on the 72-km long glacier to promote tourism.The army has organised the first expedition for enthusiasts through its adventure wing.
