Swooping Birds

I forgot to mention that these birds would tumble and swoop up a lot, and the feathers sounded like cards in bicycle spokes when they reared up. They would play around with us and dive right infront of our faces. There were three birds--three birds three people. When we were hiking down to the river we also saw a deer and we picked up this snake--I love how snakes hug you with your whole body. Another thing I forgot to mention was this amazing view--It was off and on sprinkling showers that whole day and when I was out in the morning alone, there was a break in the clouds which just shined all this light on the dew, and I turned my head and saw this ful arch of a rainbow. It was a magical sight :) Our campfire was beautiful, too. It lit right up with little effort even though it had been rained on and neglected for hours...and even though the brush was all soaked. When I was hanging out with Mike last night we watched Eve's Bayou. Good movie.
