The Crow - Hold On

Back

Since March 31 marked the day of Brandon Lee's death, I thought of showing this video that is made by myself. I used five collages from a loyal Crow fan for this. The basic concept of this vid is to show Eric's devotion to Shelly and how his quest for vengeance is actually his hope to see her again as he waits. The vid also features my signature flashes and grayscale/color contrast. The contrast was originally intended as the final touch-up for the film, but the filmmakers couldn't get it. I used Limp Bizkit's "Hold On" because it set the mood for how Eric lets go of being himself and becomes The Crow. I love the duet with Fred Durst and Scott Weiland. I think the music fits quite well. If you watch it long enough, you'll hear the voice of Brandon himself from a clip on his last interview. If you would like to read the five poems by James O'Barr at the start of the vid, you can pause and read them. This video is dedicated in loving memory to Brandon himself. Rest in peace, Brandon. We miss you.
