Consolidation is the making of many things into one. In 1945 U.S. corporations paid about 50% of taxes, now they pay about 5%. In 1900 around 85% of Americans were self employed. Now, it's around 5%. The dramatic rise of corporate power, combined with the massive taxes placed upon citizens, forces dependancy upon government and leads to police state.
